Job summary

Bally's Interactive is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Handler to support casino operations in New York. The role involves handling cash boxes, operating bill changers, and transferring cash to the Cash Room, while ensuring accurate currency processing and strict adherence to key control procedures.

The position requires excellent communication with staff and guests, safety-conscious behavior, and availability on weekends, holidays, and nights.

Responsibilities

• Removes cash boxes and opens bill changer units using operations and security keys.
• Places set of alternate empty cash boxes into bill changers.
• Transports all collected cash boxes to the Cash Room.
• Operates currency counting equipment to count and process currency from cash boxes and drop boxes.
• Packages currency into predetermined amounts for deposit by the Cashiers’ Cage.
• Follows key control procedures.
• Provides exceptional customer service as applicable.
• Works safely and follows all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers, supervisors and guests.
• Follows all relevant policies and procedures.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Removes cash boxes and opens bill changer units using operations and security keys.
• Places set of alternate empty cash boxes into bill changers.
• Transports all collected cash boxes using towing equipment to the Cash Room.
• Operates automated currency counting equipment to count and process currency removed from the cash boxes and table game drop boxes.
• Responsible for packaging currency into predetermined amounts for later use by the Cashiers’ Cage for the deposit
• Complies with key control procedures
• Provides exceptional customer service as applicable
• Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations
• Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests
• Follows all relevant policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Work Environment:

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as schedule

Starting Compensation:
