Job summary

Bally in Dover, Delaware is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Room Associate to manage cash boxes, bill changers, and currency processing. You will follow key control procedures, assist with deposits, and support cage operations.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, pass a background check and obtain a DE Gaming License, and be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. English proficiency required; safety and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• Must possess high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license from the DE Lottery.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, nights and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Removes cash boxes and opens bill changer units using operations and security keys.
• Places set of alternate empty cash boxes into bill changers.
• Transports all collected cash boxes to the Cash Room.
• Operates automated currency counting equipment to count and process currency removed from the cash boxes and table game drop boxes.
• Packages currency into predetermined amounts for later use by the Cashiers’ Cage for the deposit.
• Complies with key control procedures.
• Provides exceptional customer service as applicable.
• Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
• Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
• Follows all relevant policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as schedule.

• Operates automated currency counting equipment to count and process currency removed from the cash boxes and table game drop boxes.
