Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Dover, Delaware seeks a Cage Cashier to support cage operations and guest service. This role requires accuracy in cash handling, English communication, and adherence to security procedures.

Starting compensation is $17.25/hour. Weekend/nights shifts apply. Must pass a background check and obtain a Delaware Lottery license; high school diploma required. Benefits include 30 days of free DART rides and commute reimbursements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a DE Lottery license.
• Previous money handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Safeguard cash drawer and casino assets.
• Count and verify transactions in Cage at shift start and end.
• Make change and exchange tickets for cash.
• Maintain cash transmittal forms and paperwork.
• Maintain confidentiality of Casino Operations data.
• Exchange coins, tickets, and valuables for currency.
• Prepare cash count sheets and bank paperwork.
• Complete currency transaction reports as required by law.
• Maintain integrity of video lottery equipment and assets.
• Notify Main Bank Cashier/Shift Manager of issues.
• Work safely following established safety rules.
• Follow policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Provides exceptional customer-service

• Counts and verifies all transactions in Cage at beginning and end of shift.


• Makes change and exchanges tickets /change for cash.


• Maintains accurate cage cash transmittal forms and other paper work.


• Maintains confidentiality of Casino Operations data.


• Exchanges coins, tickets, and other valuable items for currency.


• Prepares and completes all job-related paperwork which includes, but not limited to, cash count sheets, coin transfers, bank summary sheets, over/short vouchers and other value items.


• Completes currency transaction reports as/if required by law.


• Maintains the integrity of video lottery equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times.


• Notifies Main Bank Cashier and/or Shift Manager of any problems that may arise with guests.


• Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations


• Follows all relevant policies and procedures


• Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests


• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled
