Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking a Repossession Specialist II to join our Retail Finance Team in Kennesaw, GA. This role handles all administration, correspondence, and documentation throughout the repossession process, ensuring compliance with multi-State and Federal law while performing heavy skip tracing to recover collateral.

You will assign repossessions, manage notices, coordinate with vendors, and support dealers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 3 years of experience in consumer finance, auto finance, powersports finance, or secured lending.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state repossession laws, FDCPA, SCRA and FCRA.
• Knowledge of collections compliance requirements such as FDCPA, SCRA, bankruptcy, and privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Assign repossessions and communicate with vendors to secure collateral.
• Handle notices, impounds, redemptions, and updates for recovery efforts.
• Locate customers and use skip tracing to aid recovery.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls for past due accounts and negotiate payments.
• Maintain documentation and report on repossession performance.
