Job summary

OneMain Financial is seeking a Repossession Specialist to locate customers and collateral using skip tracing techniques in compliance with FDCPA and CFPB regulations. The role manages a repossession queue and collaborates with agents to coordinate fees, approvals and transportation to auction.

The position is onsite in West Valley City, UT with a Monday–Friday schedule and a rotating Saturday shift every 6 weeks, offering opportunities within a long-standing financial services company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in collections with a focus on skip tracing to prevent loan loss.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete skip tracing activities on all assigned accounts to prevent charge off and loan loss.
• Inbound/outbound calls to discuss delinquency resolution.
• Maintain and establish new repossession and transport vendor relationships.
• Manage all accounts from repossession assignment to transportation of the vehicle to the auction.
• Complete required paperwork and letters per Federal and State regulations.
