Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required with relevant experience strongly preferred.
• 3-6 months of previous device repair experience.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to work with relative independence on regular, routine duties.
• Good listening and verbal communication skills with a customer focus.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments.

Responsibilities

• Repair cell phones, tablets, and other devices.
• Replace screens, batteries, and other components on smartphones and tablets.
• Replace cords, sockets and other parts on lamps and light fixtures.
• Assist with cycle count every week to reflect the accurate utilization of device repair inventory.
• Rotate and stock inventory.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper PPE.
• Cut keys and reprogram key fob remotes.
• Greet customers, determine needs and answer questions.
• Suggest sell add-on items.
• Directly communicates with customers about device repairs and status of repairs.
• Maintains problem resolution proficiency standards and customer satisfaction levels. Escalates situations to management when necessary
• Ask questions to identify potential commercial customers.
• Operate computer/cash register to complete sales transactions with accuracy.
• Watch for loss prevention issues and advise management of any unusual activities.
• Demonstrate a customer-first mentality.
