Position Purpose:

Repair and Tool Technicians are responsible for evaluating and repairing small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices. They make equipment recommendations and ensure units are maintained. Technicians work in stores with Tool Rental Centers and in repair centers. In stores, they provide customer service including writing rental contracts and invoices, checking equipment operation, and demonstrating proper use. They are also responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department. Off-site, technicians ensure units are repaired, tested for quality, cleaned, and returned to the store of origin. They must have thorough tool knowledge and manage inventory effectively.
