Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont seeks a seasonal Equipment Rental Associate to provide high-level guest service, performing maintenance, adjustments and instruction on rental gear. The role offers full-time and part-time seasonal opportunities and pays $20.00 per hour.

You will engage with guests, verify waivers, scan gear and assist with basic repairs in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must pass the binding manufacturer exam.

Responsibilities

• Interact constantly with guests in a courteous, professional manner.
• Follow proper rental procedures with each guest, verify waiver info, scan equipment, and set DINs on skis.
• Instruct customers on the correct use of equipment.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and orderly workstation.
• Develop general knowledge of Stratton Mountain Resort.
• Perform basic repairs and tuning on rental equipment.
• Accommodate additional duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

To provide our customers with a high level of service, that includes proper maintenance, adjustment, and instruction of all rental equipment. This is a seasonal position with full-time and part-time opportunities available, compensated at $20.00/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Constant interaction with the guests, while maintaining a courteous and professional attitude
• Ensure proper rental procedures are followed with each guest; confirm information on waiver is accurate, equipment is all scanned, and DINs are set correctly to skis
• Instruct customers in the correct use of the equipment
• Must maintain a safe, healthy and orderly workstation
• General knowledge of Stratton Mountain Resort
• Basic repairs and tuning on all rental equipment
• Additional duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
