Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont is seeking a seasonal rental technician to provide high-level service, maintain, adjust, and instruct guests on rental equipment. Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a courteous, professional manner.
• Follow rental procedures; verify waiver, scan equipment, and set DINs correctly for skis.
• Instruct customers on proper equipment use.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and orderly workstation.
• Have general knowledge of Stratton Mountain Resort.
• Perform basic repairs and tuning on rental equipment.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Position Summary

To provide our customers with a high level of service, that includes proper maintenance, adjustment, and instruction of all rental equipment. This is a seasonal position with full-time and part-time opportunities available, compensated at $20.00/hr.

Essential Duties

• Constant interaction with the guests, while maintaining a courteous and professional attitude
• Ensure proper rental procedures are followed with each guest; confirm information on waiver is accurate, equipment is all scanned, and DINs are set correctly to skis
• Instruct customers in the correct use of the equipment
• Must maintain a safe, healthy and orderly workstation
• General knowledge of Stratton Mountain Resort
• Basic repairs and tuning on all rental equipment
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements

• No experience required
• Strong customer service skills
• Must be able to work closely with guests and co-workers
• Must pass the binding manufacturer exam

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
