Mountain Capital Partners operates Willamette Pass Resort, seeking a Seasonal Rental Shop Associate to help guests gear up for the slopes. You will greet customers, fit ski or snowboard equipment, perform safety checks, and maintain an organized rental area.

Applicants should enjoy outdoor work, communicate clearly, and be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with a friendly, high-energy team environment at Willamette Pass Resort in Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Tech appropriate ski or snowboard rental equipment based on guests’ proficiency level and physical characteristics.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on all rental gear.
• Ensure the shop inventory is well-organized and adequately stocked.
• Inform customers about the proper use and care of their rented gear.
• Handle returns and inspecting equipment for damage upon return.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the rental department, including signage, stanchions, cleaning, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of skiing and other winter activities preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Available to work on weekends and holidays.

• Must have excellent and clear communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift weights of up to 20 lbs. overhead.
