Job summary

Mountain-Capital-Partners at Willamette Pass Resort is seeking a rental technician to outfit guests with the appropriate ski or snowboard gear and ensure it fits their ability and size. The role involves fast-paced outdoor work and clear, friendly communication with guests.

You will perform maintenance and safety checks on gear, stock and organize the rental shop, and assist with opening and closing duties. Weekend/holiday availability is preferred to support guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Fit guests with rental gear based on proficiency and physique.

In this role, you will work with guest's to outfit them in the appropriate rental equipment before they hit the slopes of Willamette Pass Resort. Our purpose is to Give People the Freedom to Ski, if this role sounds like a match for your skills, apply now!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Tech appropriate ski or snowboard rental equipment based on guests’ proficiency level and physical characteristics.Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on all rental gear.Ensure the shop inventory is well-organized and adequately stocked.Inform customers about the proper use and care of their rented gear.Handle returns and inspecting equipment for damage upon return.Perform opening and closing procedures in the rental department, including signage, stanchions, cleaning, etc.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of skiing and other winter activities preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.Available to work on weekends and holidays.Must have excellent customer service skills.Must have excellent and clear communication skills.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Ability to lift weights of up to 20 lbs. overhead.
