Job summary

Mountain-Capital-Partners at Willamette Pass Resort is seeking a rental technician to outfit guests with the appropriate ski or snowboard gear and ensure it fits their ability and size. The role involves fast-paced outdoor work and clear, friendly communication with guests.

You will perform maintenance and safety checks on gear, stock and organize the rental shop, and assist with opening and closing duties. Weekend/holiday availability is preferred to support guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of skiing and winter activities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Fit guests with rental gear based on proficiency and physique.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on rental equipment.
• Keep rental shop organized and stocked.
• Explain proper gear use and care to customers.
• Handle returns and inspect equipment for damage.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the rental department.
