Job summary

Mt. Hood Meadows is seeking a Rentals team member to join as a Rental Shop Technician. You will help guests gear up for ski and snowboard adventures, fitting boots and preparing equipment for use with a positive, guest-focused approach.

Join a fast-paced, guest-facing team and develop skills in boot fitting, equipment setup, and safety protocols while collaborating with resort staff for a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be certified or be able to be certified as a ski binding technician.
• Must have excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must be able to commit to working weekends and holidays during the ski and snowboard season.
• Must have completed or be able to complete Tech I within 30 days of hire.
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.
• Basic knowledge of ski and snowboard gear.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boot fitting, ski and snowboard setup, helmet and snowshoe rentals, and gear check operations.
• Help guests find and fit the equipment they need to ski, snowboard, and explore with confidence.
• Maintain a safe, organized environment and adapt to changing demands.
• Work closely with fellow technicians and resort teams.
