Job summary

Thompson Machinery in Columbus, MS is seeking a Rental Coordinator to support the Cat Rental Store with administrative tasks, rental transactions, pricing, and inventory coordination.

The role reports to the Cat Rental Store Manager and works with the Rental Asset Manager and Rental Sales Representatives to ensure smooth operations and timely service for customers by phone or at the counter.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree (business, sales, construction) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Cat Rental Store.
• Coordinate and process rental sales, including customer contacts and pricing.
• Coordinate transportation/shipping and service requests.
• Assist Rental Sales Representatives with rental transactions and orders.
• Rents equipment/attachments and sells accessories at the rental counter or by phone.
• Reconcile electronic charge transactions.
• Schedule, dispatch, and route vehicles for transport.
• Maintain product knowledge of equipment and Allied products.
