Job summary

Alta Equipment Group in Orland Park, IL is seeking a full-time Rental Manager to oversee the branch rental department. The base salary range is $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, with responsibilities spanning lead vetting, billing, contracts, and fleet management.

The role reports to the Rental Director and involves coordinating with service and logistics teams. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of rental dept experience, strong computer skills, and a track record in

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years rental department experience.
Must be proficient with PC and Microsoft Office.
Strong problem solving, administrative and management skills.

Responsibilities

Receive all incoming rental calls.
Vet rental leads and coordinate with the sales team.
Quote rentals using the internal rate sheet, verbally and in writing.
New customer setup: collect COI, rental forms, and insurance coverage; maintain COIs.
Process payments via Paytrace; handle first-time rental payments.
Create Rental/Demo/Internal contracts and maintain signed documents in ERP.
