Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia is seeking a Rental Shop Technician to diagnose and repair a range of rental and customer equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. You will support safety, workflow, and reporting improvements while ensuring quality and timely service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, computer and mechanical systems.
• Experience with welding and basic fabrication is a plus.
• Ability to read manuals and follow repair instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engine components.
• Repair frames, suspensions, drive trains, and electrical systems.
• Oversee engine/transmission overhaul needs and prepare service orders.
• Tune up engines and diagnose computer controls and A/C components.
• Perform welding and fabricate parts as needed.
• Complete documentation for work orders, parts, inspections, and time sheets.
• Uphold safety procedures and quality standards.
• Participate in safety program and other duties as assigned.
