Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia is seeking a skilled Rental Shop Technician to diagnose and repair heavy equipment, diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic systems. You will troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and support safety and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; mechanical aptitude essential.
• Ability to read and follow repair manuals and technical documentation.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Good communication, teamwork and ability to document work orders clearly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment diesel engines and components.
• Repair or replace components of frames, suspensions, drive trains, electrical and AC systems.
• Determine extent of repairs and prepare service orders; perform engine tuning and diagnostic testing.
• Perform welding and fabricate parts; complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Adhere to safety procedures and support management in workflow and reporting.
