Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is looking for a full-time Rental Assistant to help customers get the machines and attachments they need, keep the rental department organized, and ensure on-time delivery and pickup. Training is provided regardless of prior equipment experience.

Dependability, willingness to learn, and strong people skills are essential as you work with customers and coworkers every day, in person or remotely.

Qualifications

• Good communication and people skills.
• Team player with a friendly attitude.
• Comfortable with basic computer programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license.
• Mechanical knowledge is helpful, but not required.
• Willing to learn and grow with the job.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and match them with the right rental machine or attachment.
• Schedule deliveries and pickups for rental equipment.
• Work with drivers to make sure routes are efficient and on time.
• Keep track of rental inventory and make sure machines are maintained.
• Talk with customers in person, on the phone, and online about rental options.
• Pass along sales opportunities to the sales department.
