Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Rental Coordinator in Hooksett, NH to manage inquiries, quotes, and rental contracts for JCB equipment. You will coordinate availability, deliveries, and fleet tracking while collaborating with sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires solid communication, time management, and organizational skills, with a focus on building relationships and adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience preferred.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction equipment or similar industry.
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Receive and qualify rental inquiries and prepare quotes.
• Establish new customer accounts with required documents.
• Explain rental options and maintain documentation.
• Create and manage rental, demo, and internal contracts.
• Coordinate equipment availability, transfers, and fleet tracking.
• Coordinate with service for equipment maintenance and readiness.
• Review returns, inspections, and damages.
• Manage rental receivables and payments.
• Process POs, trucking, and re-rental invoices as needed.
• Monitor fleet utilization and expenses; report findings.
• Attend weekly rental meetings and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain customer relationships and support sales team.
• Uphold Alta’s Guiding Principles in daily activities.
