This Rental Coordinator role will place you as the primary point of contact for customers, sales personnel, and other company staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in customer service, preferred experience in heavy equipment and/or equipment rental industry.
• Excellent computer skills – proficiency in MS Office required.
• Must understand and be able to effectively explain the company’s LDW policy.
• Must understand and be able to effectively communicate equipment applications and key performance specifications.
• Understands usage and applications of all rental equipment and services offered.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of “common” equipment failure problems and how to resolve them.
• Must recognize the difference between similar products and the advantages/disadvantages of applications.
• Must have working knowledge of construction phases to properly advise applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers, sales personnel, and staff.
• Coordinate rental sales and support services for the branch fleet and ensure information flow.
• Determine customer rental needs and process rental reservations.
