Job summary

Tuckahoe Holdings, LLC is seeking a Rental Coordinator to act as the face of the rental department in Florida. You will engage with customers, understand their equipment needs, and drive revenue through proactive engagement.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to safety, and collaboration with Service, Sales, Parts, and other teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients. Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm, with incentives based on performance.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer focused approach.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with rental or business software systems.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform visual equipment inspections.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk in and phone customers in a professional and welcoming manner
• Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their projects, timelines, and equipment needs
• Recommend appropriate equipment and attachments based on customer applications
• Prepare and execute rental agreements accurately and efficiently
• Follow up on quotes, upcoming needs, and rental opportunities
• Manage equipment scheduling and utilization to maximize rental availability and revenue
• Inspect equipment before and after rentals to ensure it is clean, functional, and ready for customer use
• Maintain accurate records of fleet condition, location, and readiness
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and pickups, including trailer logistics.
• Work with the Service Department to address maintenance or repair needs
• Collaborate with Sales, Parts, and Service teams to support a seamless customer experience
• Promote and follow all safety policies related to equipment handling and dealership operations
