POSITION SUMMARY: Rental professional with some experience in the construction rental industry to identify the specific needs of existing and potential customers. Provide solutions that ensure profitability through total customer satisfaction as defined by the customer.

Essential Functions:

1. Determine customer needs on a daily basis.
2. Take orders/requests from internal and external customers.
3. Problem solve or refer customers to someone who can meet their needs.
4. Fulfill customer orders to their satisfaction and according to company guidelines.
5. Work with Service Operations to ensure economical rental maintenance costs.
6. Communicate essential information to sales, other employees, customers, and managers.
7. Help establish competitive rental rates in assigned area.
8. Review and approve service work orders on rental equipment, cross-check that warranty is filed.
9. Monitor and communicate market, utilization & trends in the region and competitor trends to management.
10. Maintain accurate records and files.
11. Ensure accurate billing of all short-term rental contracts.
12. Collaborate with other departments to develop strategies to increase sales and gross profit.
13. Continuously improve knowledge and skills.
14. Seek innovations in processes, products, and services.
15. Maintain safety, appearance, and equipment condition standards.
16. Uphold the company's vision, mission, values, and objectives.
17. Understand customer needs.

Qualifications

Skills & Abilities:

• High School Graduate.
• Experience in related industry preferred; experience with scheduling and overseeing delivery/transportation personnel preferred; industrial rental knowledge preferred.
• Skilled in computer use.

Work Environment: Varies from office to job site to industrial locations.
