Job summary

Vail Resorts in Truckee, CA invites you to join our Ski and Ride School Rental team for the 2026/2027 winter season. Starting wage is $20 per hour with full-time and part-time hours available.

You’ll provide world-class guest service, help guests select and fit equipment, and support daily rental operations. As a seasonal position, it offers the chance to earn competitive pay, gain ski industry experience, and enjoy company perks and discounts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops.
• Fit guests with equipment - we'll train you!
• Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options
• Assist with Ski and Ride School operations daily set up and tear down
• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standard
• May include other duties
• Other duties as assigned

The Ski and Ride School Rental Associates are responsible for providing world-class guest service, assisting customers with rental equipment and providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience. Rental Associates will also assist with the daily setup and tear down of Ski and Ride School Operations.

The expected pay range is $20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
