Job summary

Vail Resorts in Park City, UT, is hiring Winter Seasonal Ski & Ride School instructors to teach group and private lessons and provide world-class guest service to guests of all ages.

As part of the Ski & Ride School, you’ll create a safe, fun learning environment, operate with the team on daily tasks, and participate in the company’s training and wellness programs while enjoying benefits like free passes and discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English.
• Comfortable skiing on groomed blue terrain.
• Excellent communication with guests.
• Willing to work with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons.
• Work with guests of all ages, including children.

• Support all ski school operations (scanning, lifts, equipment).

Experience the best office in the world teaching Snowsports to guests of all ages. Instructors will deliver quality ski instruction to groups and individuals, providing world‑class guest service in a safe and fun environment.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $20/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
• Minimum Age: At least 16 years of age
• Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children
• Deliver world‑class guest service
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all needs of the snow sports school: inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Must be comfortable and competent skiing on groomed blue terrain
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Strong communication skills
• Must be willing to work weekends/Holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Must be comfortable being in ski boots for extended period of time

The expected pay range is $20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
