Vail Resorts in Colorado is hiring for Rental Associates to help guests with rental equipment and provide world-class service, creating an unforgettable mountain experience for visitors and locals alike.

Starting wage is $20/hr with winter seasonal 2026/2027 roles, full-time and part-time hours, and housing availability. Roles span multiple departments, including mountain activities, retail operations, and guest services, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

• Fit guests with equipment - we'll train you!
• Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options
• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standard
• May include other duties such as cashiering, retail sales
• Other duties as assigned

Rental associates are responsible for generating sales through world-class guest service, assisting customers with rental equipment and providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience.

Job Specifications

Role

A Rental Associate team member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

• Mountain Activities
• Retail Rental operations
• Food and Beverage Support
• Ticket sales or scanning
• Lift Operations
• Base Area Operations

The expected pay range is $20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
