Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter seasonal positions to deliver world-class guest service in our retail rental shops. You will help guests select and fit rental gear, explain safety practices, and assist with returns and rental options.

Roles include potential cashiering, retail sales, and coverage across departments as needed. Starting wage is $20 per hour with housing availability and an emphasis on training and teamwork.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends.

• Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods.

• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standard.

Rental associates are responsible for generating sales through world-class guest service, assisting customers with rental equipment and providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience.

Job Specifications

A Rental Associate team member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

Mountain Activities

Retail Rental operations

Food and Beverage Support

Ticket sales or scanning

Lift Operations

Base Area Operations

The expected pay range is$20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
