Ohio CAT Rental Store is seeking a Rental Asset Coordinator to prioritize, monitor, and coordinate maintenance and repairs for our growing fleet. You will act as a key liaison among Rental, Service, Parts, and Product Support to keep equipment ready and available.

This role emphasizes strong organization, analytical thinking, and clear communication as you manage schedules, track asset status, and help reduce downtime and expenses while maximizing fleet profitability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Caterpillar equipment-related experience and/or rental industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of rental operations, service operations, and business systems required.
• Understanding of equipment lifecycle management, preventative maintenance practices, and fleet utilization concepts.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to build positive working relationships across departments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Rental, Service, Parts, and Sales to achieve fleet performance objectives.
• Basic understanding of Caterpillar and Allied warranty processes and procedures preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to analyze equipment maintenance and repair data to support fleet management decisions.
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, monitor, coordinate, and track maintenance and repair activities for equipment.
• Serve as liaison between Rental Department and Product Support teams to ensure availability and uptime.
• Communicate rental fleet needs to optimize availability and utilization.
• Manage maintenance schedules, repair status, and asset readiness.
• Help reduce downtime and control operating expenses while maximizing profitability.
• Support Asset Manager in fleet lifecycle costs and disposition activities.
• Maintain accurate asset and equipment records.
• Collaborate with Rental, Service, Parts, and Sales to achieve fleet objectives.
