RDO Equipment Co. in Riverside, CA is seeking a Rental Advisor to coordinate rental equipment availability, fleet readiness, deliveries and pickups to keep customers moving.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in equipment rental, construction equipment or related operational environment.
• Strong organizational ability to balance availability, readiness, commitments and changing priorities.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment, rental operations, equipment condition and maintenance needs.
• Clear communication of priorities with customers and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to identify issues, adapt to changing needs, and find practical solutions.
• Proficiency with company systems to manage rental activity and documentation.
• Must have valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Rental Operations: manage availability, reservations, deliveries, pickups, transfers and commitments.
• Keep the Fleet Ready: oversee inspections, cleaning, fueling, repairs and staging.
• Support Customers: serve as the primary contact for walk‑in rental customers and coordinate needs and returns.
• Manage Priorities: align daily workflow with demand, availability, service schedules and transportation needs.
• Keep Everyone Connected: collaborate with Rental, Sales, Service and Transportation teams to resolve issues and support commitments.

What You Will Do:

What You Will Need:

• Industry Experience: Previous experience in equipment rental, construction equipment, heavy equipment, or a related operational environment is preferred.
• Strong Organization: Ability to balance equipment availability, fleet readiness, customer commitments, and changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Equipment Knowledge: General understanding of heavy equipment, rental operations, equipment condition, and maintenance or repair needs.
• Communication: Ability to clearly communicate priorities and work effectively with customers and teams across multiple departments.
• Problem‑Solving: Ability to identify operational issues, respond to changing needs, and find solutions that keep equipment and customers moving.
• Tech‑Savvy: Strong computer skills and the ability to effectively use company systems to manage rental activity, equipment status, and documentation.
• Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
