Rent-A-Center in Goldsboro, NC is seeking an Account Manager to join our team and manage rental accounts while delivering exceptional customer service. You will drive account performance, complete deliveries and pickups, and help customers find the right rental solutions.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, timely payments, and strong store standards, with full-time hours and potential for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy merchandise and operate a box truck when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts and build relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due).
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments.
• Complete routes for deliveries, pickups and follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, by phone, and at home.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to safety and operational guidelines.
