Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Site Design Staff Engineer to join our civil team responsible for site design of utility-scale solar projects. You will compile civil design plan sets and support permitting, working with a diverse design team to meet schedules and budgets.

The role emphasizes mentoring, collaboration across offices, and adherence to Westwood standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 0+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
• Engineer-in-Training or Engineering Intern certification, or the ability to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a design team member supporting permitting, design, and construction of renewable energy projects.
• Use sound engineering judgment and adhere to ethical standards when evaluating, selecting, and applying standard technical procedures to complete project tasks.
• Gain foundational knowledge and develop engineering skills through mentored experiences.
• Coordinate with design team members to meet project milestones, contract requirements, and client expectations.
• Collaborate with design team members to uphold company standards and consistency.
