Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Civil Staff Engineer to join our site design team working on utility‑scale solar projects. You will contribute to civil infrastructure design, access roads, and work pads while supporting permitting and occasional field tasks.

As part of an integrated design team, you will prepare civil design plan sets and coordinate with other disciplines to meet project schedules and budgets. Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 0+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC‑accredited program.
• Engineer‑in‑Training certification or eligibility to pass FE exam within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a design team member supporting permitting, design, and construction of renewable energy projects.
• Apply engineering judgment and standard procedures to complete tasks ethically.
• Gain foundational knowledge and develop engineering skills through mentored experiences.
• Coordinate with design team to meet milestones, contract requirements, and client expectations.
• Collaborate with design team to uphold company standards and consistency.
