Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Site Design Staff Engineer to join our team.

This Civil Staff Engineer role focuses on site design for utility-scale solar projects, including civil infrastructure such as access roads and work pads, with permitting support and occasional field work. As part of an integrated design team, you will compile civil design plan sets and collaborate across disciplines to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or FE exam within 6 months.
• 0+ years of civil/site design experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a design team member supporting permitting, design, and construction of renewable energy projects.
• Use sound engineering judgment and adhere to ethical standards when evaluating, selecting, and applying standard technical procedures to complete project tasks.
• Gain foundational knowledge and develop engineering skills through mentored experiences.
• Coordinate with design team members to meet project milestones, contract requirements, and client expectations.
• Collaborate with design team members to uphold company standards and consistency.
