Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Site Design Staff Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on civil site design for utility-scale solar projects, including access roads and work pads, with permitting support and occasional fieldwork.

You will be part of an integrated design team, compiling civil design plan sets and meeting project schedules. Strong communication and collaboration across disciplines are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET/EAC-accredited program.
• EIT/Engineering Intern certification or FE eligibility within 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as design team member supporting permitting, design, and construction of renewable energy projects.
• Apply sound engineering judgment and standard procedures to complete tasks.
• Develop engineering skills through mentored experiences.
• Coordinate with design team to meet milestones, contract requirements, and client expectations.
• Collaborate to uphold company standards and consistency.
