Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a motivated Project Engineer with 4–8 years of experience to support renewable energy projects from our Massachusetts, NH, Connecticut or Richmond offices. You will perform site civil, land development, stormwater and utility designs to support solar and other renewables.

The role requires a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (MS preferred) and a PE is a plus. Travel to client meetings and project sites is expected as you work in a multidisciplinary team to

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• PE certification preferred.
• Experience with Hydro CAD and stormwater modeling software.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client meetings and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform site civil, land development, stormwater, utility designs for renewable energy projects.
• Prepare and submit permit applications for project development.
• Present at public hearings to support land use permit applications.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects.
