Weston & Sampson is seeking a motivated Project Engineer with 4–8 years of experience to support renewable energy development projects from our New England offices (MA, NH, CT) and scattered regional locations. You'll assist with permitting, design, and construction phases, focusing on site civil, land development, and stormwater design.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; MS preferred.
• PE certification preferred.
• 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Hydro CAD and stormwater modeling software.
• Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Organizational/time management skills.
• Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites.
• Experience on renewable energy projects a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform site civil, land development, stormwater, utility designs, and specifications to support solar or other renewable energy development projects including construction observation or administration.
• Prepare and submit permit applications in support of the project development, representing our municipal and private clients.
• Conduct presentations at public hearings to support the permit applications for land use projects.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate multiple disciplines, and collaborate with multiple staff members in a team environment; and
