Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a Project Engineer with 4–8 years of experience to support renewable energy projects from our MA, NH, CT or Richmond offices, or the Mid-Atlantic region. You will assist permitting, design, and construction phases across diverse teams to deliver high-quality environmental and civil engineering solutions.

Qualifications

BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
MS degree preferred.
PE certification preferred.
4–8 years of relevant experience.
Experience with Hydro CAD and stormwater modeling software.
Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Organizational and time management skills.
Some travel to client meetings and project sites.
Experience on renewable energy projects a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform site civil, land development, stormwater, utility designs for solar or renewable energy projects, including construction observation or administration.
Prepare and submit permit applications for project development.
Present at public hearings to support land use permit applications.
Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
