Job summary

Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc is seeking a motivated Project Engineer with 4-8 years of experience to support renewable energy projects across the country from our MA, NH, CT or Richmond offices. You will assist in permitting, design and construction phases and interact with municipal and private clients.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (MS preferred) with experience in Hydro CAD, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and strong communication.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Hydro CAD and stormwater modeling software.
• Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills; excellent written and verbal communication; good organizational/time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform site civil, land development, stormwater, utility designs for renewable energy projects including construction observation or administration.
• Prepare and submit permit applications for project development, representing municipal and private clients.
• Conduct presentations at public hearings to support land-use permit applications.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team, manage multiple projects, coordinate disciplines, and collaborate with staff.
