Job summary

Plenitude Renewables US Inc. in Houston is seeking an O&M Substation Engineer to lead operations for HV/MV systems, protection schemes and plant controls across the US portfolio, ensuring high availability and safety of critical energy assets.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in PV and BESS facilities, optimize maintenance strategies, support grid compliance with NERC/ERCOT, and coordinate SCADA and PPC changes with OEMs and internal teams to maximize asset performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in renewable energy sector (PV, BESS) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HV system operations.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• English proficiency (C2).

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation of the electrical Balance of Plant (eBOP) across the US portfolio, focusing on HV/MV systems, protection schemes and plant controls.
• Support compliance teams in meeting NERC and ERCOT requirements, including audits, event analysis and reporting.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and maintenance of HV/MV equipment; review O&M reports for issues.
• Lead troubleshooting of SCADA, communications, and PPC-related issues with OEMs and integrators.
• Coordinate SCADA/PPC upgrades, testing, and commissioning activities with vendors and stakeholders.
