Job summary

Eni's Plenitude Renewable US in Houston seeks an O&M Substation Engineer to oversee HV/MV systems, plant controls, and SCADA/PPC. You will diagnose complex faults, optimize maintenance strategies, and ensure grid compliance with NERC and ERCOT standards.

In this role you will coordinate with O&M contractors and internal teams to maximize asset reliability and performance across PV and BESS facilities in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Relevant experience in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, and/or BESS).
• Experience in HV system operations and engineering.
• Strong understanding of service and O&M contracts.
• Proficiency in cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Fluency in English (required).

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation of the electrical Balance of Plant (eBOP) across the US portfolio, focusing on HV/MV systems and plant controls.
• Support compliance with NERC and ERCOT requirements, including audits and reporting.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and maintenance of HV/MV equipment; review O&M reports.
• Lead SCADA/PPC monitoring, control logic, and setpoint management.
• Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, and internal teams for maintenance and troubleshooting.
