Job summary

ENGIE is seeking a Hedging & Risk Advisor within the Renewables team to manage exposures, strengthen governance, and deliver data-driven insights that shape critical business decisions. You will support financial performance and growth of our renewable fleet.

You will establish market risk governance, identify exposures across assets, and collaborate to develop tailored hedging strategies while delivering cross-functional analytics and dashboards for risk and revenue optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 7+ years' experience in market risk analysis or energy sector roles.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills with Python, Fabric, Power BI.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish market risk governance frameworks and lead risk committees.
• Identify and monitor market exposures across assets and hedges.
• Develop hedging strategies by exposure type and optimize hedge effectiveness.
• Build dashboards and analytics for risk exposure, margins, and performance.
• Design scalable risk processes and automate workflows.
