ENGIE is seeking a Business Development Advisor to accelerate its North American renewables growth, focusing on acquisitions, development, and strategic investments. You will source, evaluate, negotiate, and execute complex opportunities across wind, solar, storage, and emerging technologies.

The role requires strong financial modeling, market analysis, and cross-functional leadership to drive transaction success and strategic growth. Hybrid in-office policy; travel up to 20% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years in energy sector including development, M&A, or project finance.
• Experience leading complex M&A, development, or strategic transactions.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; BI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead origination, evaluation, negotiation, and execution of acquisitions and strategic investments.
• Develop financial models, valuations, and investment scenarios.
• Manage transaction processes from assessment to closing with cross-functional teams.
• Lead negotiations and due diligence, identify risks and value drivers.
• Prepare investment memos and governance materials for approvals.
• Support development pipeline and market expansion opportunities.
• Design dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility and efficiency.
