Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks an Electrical Graduate Engineer to join our Renewables Division in the United States. You will support construction document production for solar, wind, and energy storage projects, coordinating with civil, geotechnical, and survey teams.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of NEC/NESC are required, along with 2–5 years of drafting electrical power systems. An Associates degree or technical certificate in related fields is expected; a Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

Associates Degree or Technical School Certificate in Electrical Design, Solar Design, or related field.
2-5 years of drafting/design experience for electrical power/distribution systems.
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Windows/Office.
Knowledge of NEC and/or NESC.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, able to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Support construction document production for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, and survey team disciplines.
Use AutoCAD to create construction documents and perform quantity takeoffs.
Create wiring/cable schedules and maintain CAD standards.
