Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks an Electrical Graduate Engineer to join the Renewables Division in Westminster, CO. You will support construction document production for solar, wind, and energy storage projects and coordinate with civil, geotechnical, and survey teams.

You will use AutoCAD to create construction documents, develop wiring/cable schedules, and maintain Westwood CAD standards. A2–5 years of drafting electrical power systems and knowledge of NEC/NESC are required; an

Qualifications

Associates Degree or Technical Certificate in Electrical Design, Solar Design, Architectural/Engineering Drafting, or related degree.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Knowledge of NEC/NESC and electrical power concepts.
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
2–5 years of drafting/design experience for electrical power/distribution systems.

Responsibilities

Construction document production support for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, and survey teams.
Create wiring and cable schedules from takeoffs and input from senior designers/engineers.
Maintain awareness of Westwood CAD standards.
