Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Technical Certificate in Electrical Design, Solar Design, Architectural/Engineering Drafting, or related degree.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of NEC/NESC and electrical power concepts.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• 2–5 years of drafting/design experience for electrical power/distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Construction document production support for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
• Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, and survey teams.
• Create wiring and cable schedules from takeoffs and input from senior designers/engineers.
• Maintain awareness of Westwood CAD standards.
