Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or NESC.
• Experience with basic electrical design concepts.
• Associates Degree or Technical Certificate in Electrical Design or related field.
• Approximately 2–5 years of drafting/design in electrical power/distribution.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Windows/Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to balance multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce construction documents for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
• Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, and survey teams.
• Create wiring/layout drawings and perform quantity takeoffs in AutoCAD.
• Create wiring/cable schedules from takeoffs and inputs.
• Maintain familiarity with Westwood CAD standards.
