Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Graduate Engineer to join our Renewables Division in Wisconsin. You will support the production of construction documents for solar, wind, and energy storage projects, coordinating with civil, geotechnical, and survey teams.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with NEC/NESC are essential. You will read plans, perform takeoffs, and help develop wiring schedules under senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Technical School Certificate in Electrical Design or related.
• Approximately 2-5 years of experience in drafting/design of electrical power/distribution systems.
• Must be able to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows/Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction document production support for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
• Coordinate with design team disciplines (civil, geotechnical, surveyors).
• Use AutoCAD to create construction documents including site layouts, wire/cable routing, one lines, details, equipment/wire schedules.
• Create wiring/cable schedules based on input from senior designers/engineers; perform takeoffs.
• Maintain awareness of Westwood CAD standards and practices.
