Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Designer/Drafter – Engineering Technician to join our Renewables Division.

You will support renewable energy projects by preparing design drawings, plan sets, exhibits, and technical documents, collaborating with engineers, designers, and project teams to develop high-quality deliverables for wind, solar, battery energy storage, and related infrastructure. Required skills include AutoCAD and Microsoft Office proficiency, plus an Associate degree

Qualifications

Proficiency in drafting and civil design principles; experience with design standards is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings and documents.
Excellent communication and ability to work with engineers and project teams.
Familiarity with civil/site design processes and plan production is preferred.
Experience with renewable energy project documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare design drawings, plan sets, exhibits, and technical documents for renewable energy projects.
Transfer markup information into final drawings and plan sets.
Develop and revise drawings for site design, grading, drainage, and utility systems.
Coordinate with engineers and other staff to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.
