Job summary

Roeslein & Associates is seeking a Renewables Controller to lead daily accounting for BCM Energy's RNG trading desk within a broader renewable platform. You will bridge project-level accounting, corporate finance, and trading support, ensuring accurate reporting, cash forecasting, and margin analysis across RNG transactions.

The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background, experience with commodity markets, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills to optimize accounting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and energy trading/ETRM platforms.
• Advanced Excel modeling and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records for RNG trading and marketing activities.
• Manage all A/R and A/P activities related to BCM Energy.
• Reconcile daily and monthly positions, invoices, and settlements.
• Prepare monthly close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting and external auditors to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Support design of reporting frameworks integrating trading results with project-level reporting.
• Assist in auditing and tax information gathering.
