Job summary

Redtail Renewables is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead RNG developments from concept through commissioning. You will helm engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and startup, driving schedule integrity, cost control, and stakeholder alignment.

The role requires 7–10+ years of relevant experience, a technical engineering degree, and a proven track record in multidisciplinary project leadership within gas processing or RNG environments.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Proven experience delivering RNG/landfill gas-to-energy projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Led multidisciplinary teams through engineering and construction phases of large capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contracting, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-influence capabilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead RNG projects from development through commissioning and startup.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and overall execution.
• Coordinate across engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and operations teams.
• Provide project reporting and updates to stakeholders.
• Drive project meetings and accountability for key deliverables.
• Identify optimization opportunities, cost reductions, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Negotiate utility agreements and interconnection requirements.
• Develop execution and permitting plans; ensure permit compliance.
• Oversee procurement of equipment and services; evaluate suppliers.
• Support hazard reviews and safe project design and execution.
• Frequent travel to project sites and stakeholder engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
