Job summary

Invenergy is hiring a Project Engineer, Renewable Electrical Engineering (SCADA) to lead end-to-end SCADA systems for wind, solar, and battery projects. You will shape designs, drive procurement, commissioning, and turnover, and secure the OT/IT ecosystem across multiple stakeholders.

The role requires a BS in a related field, 4+ years of SCADA experience, and travel up to 25%. You will work with a strong team to ensure safe, reliable power delivery from day one.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree.
• 4+ years of transmission, distribution, and/or generation SCADA systems experience.
• Knowledge of networking equipment and industrial protocols such as OPC, DNP3, Modbus.
• Experience with HV/MV infrastructure and coordinating multiple projects.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship; up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe commissioning and startup of SCADA and communications systems for renewable projects.
• Build and secure the plant communications network including firewall rules.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet grid and operational requirements.
• Own energization and commissioning plans, define scope and risk mitigations.
• Maintain system specifications for SCADA, RTUs, and IT/OT equipment.
