Job summary

Apex Clean Energy seeks an EHS Advisor to lead safety across wind, solar, and storage facilities. You will develop programs, conduct audits, and ensure OSHA NFPA 70E compliance while promoting a strong safety culture at multiple project sites.

The role requires 5+ years of safety experience, renewable energy knowledge, and travel up to 50%. It offers remote work flexibility and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• OHST/CHST certification or plan to obtain certification.
• OSHA 30/510 certification or plan to obtain certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification (can be obtained).
• Tower Rescue certification (can be obtained).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and NFPA 70E is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program development and site safety initiatives across wind, solar, and battery storage facilities.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure OSHA compliance and maintain records.
• Provide guidance on contractor safety programs and prequalification processes.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Gather and present monthly safety metrics with relevant stakeholders.
• Support environmental reporting and safety program improvements.
